Monika wuchs als polnisches Kind in Deutschland auf. Da alle ihre engen Verwandten Ingenieure oder Architekten waren, sieht sie sich selbst als Architektin des Klangs. Sie lernte, sieben Instrumente zu spielen, wobei das Saxophon zu ihrem Favoriten wurde. Nach intensiven Studien in Jazz, Popmusik und Komposition / Musiktheorie erwarb sie drei Master of Arts und schloss an der weltweit renommierten Musikuniversität in Wien, Österreich (MDW), sowie an der Hochschule für Musik in München, Deutschland (HfM) ab.
Mit ihrem Saxophon übersetzt sie rauhe und coole Jazzklänge ebenso überzeugend wie kristallklare Klangfarben der klassischen Musik. Sie fesselt ihr Publikum sowohl beim Improvisieren zu Beats, die von DJs kreiert werden, als auch zu energetischen Balkan-Rhythmen. Die markantesten Merkmale ihres Saxophonspiels sind der weite Dynamikumfang und der facettenreiche Klang sowie die mühelose Melange aus eingängigen Melodien und virtuosen Improvisationen. Ihre Bühnenauftritte zeichnen sich durch die mitreißende Energie aus, die sie in ihre Musik steckt, während sie stets die Kommunikation mit dem Publikum als zentrales Ziel verfolgt.
Sie blickt auf eine erfolgreiche Karriere zurück und hat in mehr als 25 Ländern weltweit gespielt, darunter große Konzerthallen und Festivals. Sie trat beim Shanghai Spring Music Festival (China), in der Münchener Philharmonie (Deutschland), der Oper Augsburg, im Konzerthaus Wien (Österreich), der Stadthalle Wien, im Jazzclub St. Petersburg (Russland) und vielen weiteren auf. Die Kombination ihrer virtuosen Fähigkeiten und ihrer charmanten Ausstrahlung hat sie zudem zu einer der gefragtesten Solistinnen im Event-Sektor gemacht – mit über 140 Firmenevents pro Jahr ist sie auch eine bekannte Größe in Europa.
Darüber hinaus ist sie künstlerische Leiterin, Arrangeurin und treibende Kraft hinter zahlreichen erfolgreichen Ensembles wie Melotronic (elektronische Musik), Gemini (elektrische Violine & Saxophon) und Velvetto (Vintage-Jazzband). Als Studiomusikerin ist sie auf über 20 Albumproduktionen internationaler Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus den Bereichen Jazz, Pop, Hip-Hop, Soul, Weltmusik und Klassik zu hören.
Neben ihrer Karriere als Saxophonistin und Komponistin betreut sie auch junge Künstler*innen als Studiendekanin und Professorin für Medienmusik (Univ.Prof.) und Dozentin für Komposition und Pop-Saxophon an der Privatuniversität für Musik Wien JMLU, und arbeitet dazu an ihrer Dissertation im Fach Kulturmanagement, die an der Musikuniversität Wien betreut wird.
Als Komponistin ist Monika insbesondere in den Bereichen Medienmusik und Orchestration erfolgreich.
Sie arbeitet als Songwriterin und Arrangeurin für Filmmusik Libraries in Los Angeles, orchestriert oder arrangiert Auftragswerke für Opernstars wie Erwin Schrott oder Austropop-Größen wie Wolfgang Ambros und Stefanie Werger.
Außerdem produzierte/komponierte sie die Musik für deutsche Fernsehserien und Spielfilme für die ARD. Ihr Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Orchestrierung für große Ensembles sowie der Musikproduktion: Als Medienkomponistin versteht sich Monika als Klangtüftlerin, die ständig mit neuen Sounds, Instrumenten und Effekten experimentiert und dabei nicht nur Saxophonklänge in verfremdete Klänge aus einer anderen Welt verwandelt.Neben ihren musikalischen Aktivitäten hatte Monika schon immer eine Leidenschaft für das Organisieren und Booking. Nachdem sie für den großen Klassik-Radiosender Bayern4 Klassik als Autorin und als Bookerin bei NuCoast Entertainment mit Künstlern wie Elton John, Bryan Adams und Il Divo gearbeitet hatte, gründete sie ihre eigene Booking-Agentur ArtSonic, die erfolgreich Künstler*innen managt und maßgeschneiderte Lösungen für Entertainment in der Eventbranche anbietet. Aktuell ist Monika in München, Wien und Miami zu Hause.

Monika grew up as a Polish kid in Germany; with her close relatives all being engineers or architects, she sees herself as an architect of sound. She learned to play 7 instruments, the saxophone became her favorite. After intensive studies in jazz, popmusic and composition / music theory she obtained three masters of arts, graduating from the world’s top awared music university of Vienna, Austria (MDW), and the school of music Munich, Germany (HfM).
With her saxophone, she translates rough and cool jazz sounds just as convincingly as crystal clear timbres of classical music. She captures her audience improvising to beats created by DJs as well as to energetic balkan-rhythms.
The prominent features of her saxophone play are the broad dynamic range and a multi-faceted sound, and the effortless motion between catchy melodies and virtuoso improvisations.
Her stage performances are highlighted by her sweeping energy that she puts into her music, while she always makes communication with the audience a focal goal.
She is looking back at a successful career, having played in more than 25 countries worldwide, including big concert halls and festivals. She performed at the Shanghai Spring Music Festival (China), the Munich Philharmony (Germany), Opera Augsburg, Konzerthaus Vienna (Austria), Stadthalle Vienna, Jazzclub St. Petersburg (Russia), and many more.

She is also the artistic director, arranger or driving force of numerous successful ensembles such as Melotronic (electronic music), Gemini (electric violin & saxophone) and Velvetto (vintage jazz band). As a studio musician, she can be heard on over 20 album productions by international artists in the fields of jazz, pop, hip-hop, soul, world music and classical music.In addition to her career as a saxophonist and composer, she also looks after young artists as dean of studies and professor for media music (Univ.Prof.) - also teaching composition and pop saxophone - at the private university for music Vienna JMLU, and is working diligently on her dissertation in cultural management, which is supervised at the Vienna University of Music.As a composer, Monika is particularly successful in the field of media music and orchestration.
She works as a songwriter and arranger for several Film Music Libraries in Los Angeles, orchestrated or arranged commissioned works for opera stars like Erwin Schrott or Austropop greats such as Wolfgang Ambros and Stefanie Werger.
She also produced / composed the music for German TV series and feature films for ARD. Her focus is on orchestration for large ensembles as well as music production: as a media composer, Monika sees herself as a sound tinkerer, constantly experimenting with new sounds, instruments and effects, transforming not only saxophone sounds into alienated sounds from another world.Besides her musical endeavors, Monika always had a passion for organizing and booking. After having worked for the big classical radio station Bayern4 Klassik as an author, and as a booker at NuCoast entertainment with artists like Elton John, Bryan Adams and Il Divo, she started her own booking agency ArtSonic that is successfully managing artists and providing custom solutions for entertainment in the event industry.
