It is a privilege to work with talented, young musicians and pass on my knowledge to the next generation.
Since 2012 I have been teaching composition, music theory, ear training, music production and saxophone. I started at the Vienna Conservatory, and since 2016 I am proud to be part of the lecturers at Jam Music Lab Private University Vienna, Austria, passing on my knowledge to students from all over the world.
At JMLU Vienna I am also dean of studies at the department of music,
and head of institute for composition and music theory as well as wind instruments.

Research
I am currently working on a PhD thesis at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, Austria, at the IKM (Institute of Cultural Management) with Prof. Dr. Otto Hofecker.

Sebastian Grandits

Major: Songwriting
Sebastian is a successfull Austrian Songwriter, his latest Album "Bergauf Bergab" received nationwide acclaim. He is currently working as radio host at Antenne Steiermark.
Michael Gutenbrunner
Graduated: 2020
Major: Composition
Michael's unique nostalgic, yet energetic style makes him one of the most interesting voices of the young Viennese scene. His band “Alfa Romeo” recently released their highly acclaimed debut album.
Karin Kienberger
Graduated: 2018
Major: Songwriting
Thanks to her straightforward lyrics and touching songs that go under one's skin, Karin's fan base is steadily growing. In 2021 she released her second studio album. Karin is also teaching
Visar Kasa
Graduated: 2019
Major: Composition
His rough voice and his compositions with a twist became Visar's trade mark. In his home country Kosovo he worked as composer for stage music, and is currently working on a new EP.
Mathias Tropper
Graduated: 2019
Major: Composition
Tyrolean composer and singer Matthias writes music that crosses the borders of jazz, pop, and classical music. His current project MatDeus merges jazzy harmonies with electronical beats.
Judith Bogusch

Young composer Judith is writing songs with strong melodies and fragile soundscapes, as well as developing her skills as media composer, working on various movies.
